You may have seen the letter to the editor in the The Yuma Sun What happened to veterinarians? and the response, Critism of veterinarians hurtful, concerning local veterinary practices as of late, as opposed to experiences remembered by more than a few of us--the rural veterinarian. In our high tech world, the veterinary profession really has stepped up to meet and excede industry standards at a time when we want to take the very best care of our pets. Unfortunately, the cost of living has outpaced everything else.
